There are some really dedicated teachers at this campus. The principal is very hands-on, and highly visible. His eyes and ears are everywhere. The athletic coordinator has great rapport with students. The speech and theatre dept. is growing in prestige, and the school added the AVID program a few years back.

I went to this school last year, entering BCHS now I felt like some of the staff just didn't care. I believe all they wanted was a paycheck. I don't recommend sending your child to this school at all.

This is an excellent school and I highly recommend it, the classes are tough and offer a good amount of Challenge for our kids.

There is a new principal since 2004. I have interacted with him and he is genuinely concerned about the welfare of his students, and got back to me in a timely fashion, offering both his cell phone number and office number in case of further concerns. However, many less desirable teachers end up at this district and some are at BCJHS. My child has a couple of these teachers that are rarely in the classroom and even when they do come to class, they offer little instruction, just pass out required reading, or tests.

last year I went to this (I'm entering 9th grade) and the school was horrible, every day fights broke out there was even drinking going on after school in the court yard.

This school has a lot to be desired. Principal did not provide much enthusiasm, time nor concern for parent providing feedback concerning teachers improprieties. There appears to be a failure by principal to provide his employees with a set of standards/expectations, people skill training, legal training and integrity. I expected a much higher quality principal with established high standards with a school district that has school taxes set at the state maximum. Very disappointed.

With the school's student and teacher ratio, is there enough teachers to educate and look after our children while they are in their hands? These days and times, our kids need to be watched before, during, and after school. From what I know as a parent, they are not.
