Their staff is very friendly. There is definitely no child left behind because the staff is very attentive and caring.

Baytown Jr. is an ok school as long as your child is not a special needs student. In that area they fail miserably!!!!

My student attend this school and I am not impressed at all with some of the teachers at this school. I have made several attempts to connect with the teachers about my child and it seems that are not concerned about his progress. Not one time did I receive a call about my child having problems in a subject what can we do to help. It really is frustrating to have to stay on teachers about informing the parent or even trying to help the student out.

Some of the teachers are quality educators, need more interaction with the parents about progress of students, they have poor coaches for sports, they need new uniforms because 2007 uniforms was well they need new ones, teachers need to teach become great educators, and teach to all level of children even those with LD, or ADHD and not give up on them, stop putting labels on kids, and principals that solve problems and not fast talk you or around your problem.

This school chould have a lot to offer. I am not sure where the breakdown comes, however, from my own personal experience I find that some teachers are poorly lacking the skills to teach. I also find that the disconnect between parents and teachers are only hurting the students. As a parent who wants to provide my child the best educational opportunity available, this would fail me miserably.
