While the campus is large, the teachers are concerned and they are supported by a great principal. In addition, the PTSO is very active and provides great supplemental activities.

Both of my children have attended SFA since Kindergarten. My son graduated this year to Gentry and my daughter has one more year at SFA. I have been very satisfied with all of their teachers except my daughter's Kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Eckerman was my son's Kindergarten teacher and she was wonderful. He surprised me the summer he graduated from Kindergarten by correcting my 11 year old niece who was reading to him. When she stumbled over a word, he knew what it was. He's been an avid reader ever since. My daughter is rather quiet at school, wanting to please, and loving all her teachers. My son has had problems because he hates to write, and every teacher he has had has gone out of their way to help him, work with him, get him to do his best, including the assistant principals and the principal. I have worked with several of the other teachers myself at preschool and know them to be wonderful, loving, caring people. All in all, I feel SFA is a great school.
