Barbers Hill ISD is one of the best school districts in the state of Texas! They are constantly improving the way they teach our children and assuring that they have the tools needed to be successfully. I am extremely proud to say my children go to Barbers Hill... Go Eagles!

I was a student at BH since elementary and loved it. Its very small town but everyone knew everyone. When I have kids I def. want them to go there.

I hate this school. I took my children out because there was to much drama and nonsense and not enough learning. They think to much of themselves, and they think everything is handed to them in life. I dissaprove very much of this school and I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE!

I graduated from 'The Hill' and loved every minute of it. Its hard to break down the school into whats good and what's bad, but one thing is for sure. People that grow up in Barbers Hill are the most well-rounded people I have ever met. I am now the Vice President of a large company in Dallas but as soon as i have children they will go to Barbers Hill. The sports program not only makes for a better athlete but also a better person.

I went to this school from K-12 and I thought it was okay. The expectations were not as high up there as I thought they should be academically now that I have children of my own that go to a nearby district -- Clear Creek ISD. I knew of failing boys that would get their grades changed just so they could play football. God forbid one of their star players could not perform...Everyone's a fan! If you want a good football, basketball & cheerleading program, then Barbers Hill is the place to be. If you want a good academic school I suggest look elsewhere.

This is the greatest school I have ever seen. I plan on moving back down to Texas just so my children can grow up in such extraordinary community. The teachers here are very easy to talk to and provide spectacular help for the students.

Great School! Parents support the district and the kids extremely well. Great facilities and ample space. Well balanced between academics and sports. Admin and staff are easy to find and talk to.

Bhhs is a good solid foundation education for college preperation. It has a experienced staff and growing community. It is still wanting for a larger extra ciricula program but it is a growing district that used to be primarily a rual community. Parent involvement is good at lower levels, there is no pta or pto which shows a lower commitment level in parent involvementin the upper levels. The district board and staff is very conservative in its forward thinking and that limits the progressive planning of future programs. All in all it is a good to very good standard education avenue for the young children.

We moved to this district when our son was a sophomore. I only wish we had been here when he started his education. Excellent teachers, excellent leaders, excellent experience.

My oldest daughter recieved an excellent education at BHHS. The teachers were of the highest caliber. The advanced classes available prepared her to be accepted a very prestigious private university.

I was a student of BHHS and I enjoyed everyday. My grades were always fine but at BHHS my grades became higher and better. I'd have my kids in BHHS but we live up north now. *sigh*
