The teachers are what make it amazing. They helped me any time I needed it; tutored me for free and stuck by my side when going through tough times.
We are not from this town, my son started at the intermediate school and has done exceptional! There is one teacher that i really appreciate and that is Mrs. Neumann. The staff really seems to care about the children. He is in band and loves it! i do have to give great reviews
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. I thought that Jr. High Atheletics was all about learning how to play the game. Students who do not excel or have the right name are never even given a chance to compete or learn the game. Band director told one sixth grade band student she could not play and had no buisness being in band. I thought six grade beginner band was called that for a reason.
Bellville Junior High has a very poor athletic faculty. They focus all energy on only those students who excel at athletics. All others are continually made to feel unwanted, unneeded and embarassed if they are not as successful in athletics as the 'chosen' ones. The faculty of this school is OK, but the entire faculty needs instruction on dealing with peer issues, and preventing bullying and verbal abuse.
