The school has old fashion ways by caring for the child's welfare and future. Care is a word this school goes by. This reason also pulls in the community to help.

Bertram Elementary has a great AR program and they always find ways of improving things and programs for the better of the kids. I went to this school when I was a kid and I am proud to have my kids go to this school. Plus, Bertram elementary won the Blue Ribbon reward two years ago in the No Child Left Behind Program.

My child just finished 5th grade after attending since K. The teachers at this school have been great and the new principal is outstanding. We will miss this school!

The teachers are great here. The curriculum is very good. Parents are welcome to come anytime and help out in the classroom. They have pretty good sign in rules. They just started requiring a drivers liscense to sign in so if anythings on your record, it shows up. It also prints up your liscense pic on your visitor sticker so the teachers know it's yours. It's great! I think it is getting a little crowded. My kindergartener has 21 kids in the class. 1st grade has 21 and 3rd has 15. So you can see it's growing. It's a little spread out for an elementary school. It has 5 separate buildings. The kids have acess to computers, they have gym everyday, and music during the week. There are classes for kids with special needs. There is a class for kids who are ahead in learning. This is a great community!
