I grew up here n if u dont grow up in BG n go to their churches while small or your parents dont hang out with the "Jones" then the social cliques leave you out. Your kid can join foot ball but will sit on the bench whole game they dont care how good their skill sets may be maybe get put in on one play at end. Administration doesnt care that all teh forth grade math kids are failing taks, My kid 7th still cant divide or multuiply he slipped right through the cracks. If you complain to principle Elem he doesnt care, Jr High teachers are grumpy moody even crying in class n make your kids life miserable and its my old classmates now teachers doing it. Plus Bg teaches the same material for High school thjat they use in Jr high so they dont get smarter they just get bored!!
Blooming Grove is a wonderful; and fun place to go to school. The teachers are friendly and really try to help kids understand.
Blooming Grove Junior High is a fantastic school. The teachers are warm and caring, and the students are well-behaved. This is a school where kids still have fun. They do well on the TAKS tests, but they also remember that testing is just one facet of education. My sons have participated in band, football, track, basketball, one-act play, and many UIL teams. The school is small enough that everyone feels included and important. I highly recommend this school.
