Quality teachers with high standards. Nice families and very involved parents. We have 3 children there currently and have been very impressed with the education.

The campus principal, assistant principal and counselor seems to operate independantly of the teachers. The leadership team seems out of touch with teachers and campus issues. I spoke with the principal a number of times on various issues and she appeared ill informed on all issues. The school has lost some exceptional teachers due to campus management problems.

Very weak managerial staff. It seems like the admin staff operates independenlty from the teachers. My family's experience is that there is a huge disconnect between the principal and teachers. As a result the admin staff makes poor decisions based on insufficient input from the teaching staff. The teacher's seem really good but it seems hindered by the admin team.

I am looking forward to a new school year and to a new office staff. The new principal should be able to handle any and all problems that might come her way.

Curington Elementary is a wonderful school. I have been a parent with the school for 7 years and have had 2 go through the school and 2 children that are still there. The administration, staff, and teachers are great! They really encourage parental involvmen!
