Fabra Elementary School

As a parent to two children at Fabra I could not be happer with the education they are getting

Fabra has been a wonderful school. My child has attended for two years. She is a bright child and boredom was a concern. However Fabra recognizes the children's needs and challenges all kids to reach for higher goals. Parent involvement is a necessity. The parents in turn challange the school to reach higher goals. Teaching the kids at Fabra is a great community effort. We will be moving away from Fabra for a few years but look forward to getting back to the area and to the schools, teachers and friends.

I believe Fabra is the best school in this entire area. The Principal, Susan Light, is the most caring, intelligent, and fun person I know. Yes, I did say fun, she believes that everyone from the teachers, cafteria staff, and custodians should have fun and work as one unit. The front office staff knows all of the children by first name and can tell you who their sibblings are and where their parents are during the day. The cafteria goal seems to be make healthy but child friendly food. The kitchen is always open to any parent, child or staff member. Our teachers believe that the school day should be fun and educational at the same time. Neat concept uh? The staff is always coming up with extra activities for the students. I am very pleased with the school.
