Mr. Schroeder is the best principal in the area. He is leading this school in the right direction and they are very lucky to have him. The school focus on achieving high test scores as well as preparing students for college. There are several good teachers at this school with the typical exception. The only bad part of the school is the ongoing battle of some board memebers who are being successful in destroying the town and school by trying to use the board as a platform for a personal agenda. The rest of the board is very thoughtful about what is best for the school. They athletic teams are supurb and have a group of hardworking coaches and a great AD. The band, while small continues to improve back to glory days.

The Principal is caring about the kids, innovative in getting technology for the school and a quality person. The teachers are dedicated and first rate. The technology, math and science departments are very strong. The students are hard working in class and in athletics. The parents are supportive of the administration in academics, athletics and discipline. Great place for your kids to go to school.

The school was first rate, the principal first rate, discipline first rate, the math and science teachers strong. Got me ready for TAMU. Coaches were excellent for many years. We won girls volleyball, basketball and softball. Boys won football and baseball. Scores are so good on SAT and TAAS that many are exempt from TASP.

I worked there for three years. The HS is great. The Principal is great, supports the teachers and the kids. The coaches work hard, as do the kids. The kids work hard in the classroom, as do the teachers. Kids come early for tutorials, they have very few discipline problems, about the biggest is a tardy. The parents support the teachers and administration in discipline and academics. Great place to be from. Proud of them.
