Alton ELementary School in Brenham, Texas is a very good School. It is a recognized school and has top the test scores for the last four years. The students have constantly improved in Reading and Math. Also, the principal is always open for suggestions and ways to mprove the school. The classrooms are not large and manageable by teachers. The teachers are always open to meet with parents or answer notes.

Alton Elementary is a good school with hard-working teachers. There is great diversity in this school, and all kids play together, regardless of economic position or ethnicity. The administrators aren't very friendly, and should attend 'charm school', but our kids were treated fairly by teachers. The building is very old, needs lots of work, and with seven different buildings, not a safe campus. The school board in this small town clearly supports the high school, not elementary schools with diversity.
