Stell is the best middle school in Brownsville, no lie. Recently, us eighth graders scored a 95% passing in our Reading TAKS test. That was a record for any TAKS-taking test. People like it here. It's not too big of a campus. The best part is the electives. Our Warrior band and choir RULE! It's near a safe neighborhood. I wouldn't have any complaints about this school. I'm happy here.
Stell has an outstanding administration and faculty and I can literally see them interacting, getting involved, supporting the students in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading and band. It's great to see them supporting those kids year round. Truth be told, that's what my child enjoys the most about school and it's great that the academics at that school are already set and have been for years and they offer so many opportunities for kids who can take on more.
