This is our first year at St. Joseph. I have been very happy with the school. The curriculum is challenging. They cover so much more than the public school did. There are things my third grader is learning that my older child didn't learn until fifth grade. My third grader had to write everything in cursive after the Christmas break. My third grader and my sixth grader both learned how to write in cursive at the same time, because it was not required in public school (they learned how to write the letters, but it was never required for class work). No, it's not perfect. But I am happy everyday that they attend this school. The kids are all friends and my kids love this school. It's like a big family. The religion part of it is awesome. That alone is worth a lot. They do have a lot of homework, compared to public school. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else.

My son has attended K and 1st grade. It is a positive, loving safe environment. We had 2 wonderful teachers. They were great!

What impresses me is for the past two years an average of 20 graduates receiving over $800,000 in scholarships. That is the return on my investment in my child's education that I am looking for. All that bundled with a positive enviroment where they interweave religion through all the curriculum as God intended! Sign me up till my daughters graduate.

Bryan Saint Joseph is the perfect combination of academic rigor, small-school intimacy, character-building, and community enthusiasm. In 2007-08, SJS ranked third in the Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools competition, which involves overall academic, athletic, artistic, and musical excellence. After all, SJS' motto is 'Restoring Faith in Education.'

St. Joseph is an excellent school system that seeks to educate the minds, bodies, and spirits of all of its students in a Catholic context.
