I can say enough about this amazing school. We have relocated several times and my children have gone to many schools but this school wins the prize for being a school that TRULY teaches the whole child. I recommend this school every chance I get. The teachers and administration are top notch and actually engages with the kids and it allows them to succed because they feel a since of ownership in their own educaiton.

Bracken has the best teachers ever! The school has a strong sense of community...a big extended family really. They want to see all student's succeed academically and spiritually. The student's receive an excellent education in truly Christian atmosphere.

I have been at Bracken since Kindergarten, That is 12 years. Next year I will be a senior and I am dreading leaving Bracken. It has been the best thing that has ever happened in my life. I wouldn't trade this school and it's loving teachers, staff, and students for anything.

Our famliy has been at Bracken for 3 yrs now and would not change schools for anything. Both our kids are in elementary and I have seen them grow so much using the ABEKA learning system. Not only does everyone at the school want to see the students excel but there is a genuine feeling of love and love for the Lord. Parents are encouraged to be involved but not expected to be if unable. Even during these tough times my husband and I have agreed that Bracken is the best of the best & will continue to sacrafice in order for our kids to attend. Tuition is actually less than most places we checked. Our kids love learning because of the teacher commitment and the overall spirit of the school.

I have been a public school teacher for eighteen years. Our daughter came to us late in life and began kindergarten this year. She has grown so much both academically and behaviorally, and I know this would not have happened in a class with twenty-two+ other children, which is what is to be expected in the very good, but over-crowded, Comal Independent School District. Bracken is exactly the place for my child. It is a struggle financially, but one worth every penny.

I've had 1 child graduate from Bracken in 2004 and currently have 1 in Kinder and 1 in third grade. This is the best place a child could get an eduction. Not only do they get a superb academic education but the entire school is one big family. They all love and support one another in every way including the development of thier spiritual education. God has greatly blessed our family with this school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
