Overall I think that Mound is a great school. There have been several changes during the last 2 years and sometimes it takes time to get everything back on track after administration and staff changes. I believe that the majority of the teachers truly care about the children. Of course you will have some not so great ones in any school that you go to. Parent involvement is getting better. It is just hard these days when both parents have to work.
My child has been a student here for several years, and with the exeption of his first two teachers I have been poorly disapointed. I do not think my son is getting the same quality of education that others are in this city. I feel that because the majority of our district is low income, that this district is not giving as much to these students. I do not believe Burleson will ever address or correct this issue.
