I think this school has a lot of potential and does enough things different to make up for their shortcomings. I have 2 children there and both kids have fit right in and are doing very well and haven't had any issues with bullying. I love the extra classes, such as robotics and character education, the kids have the chance to take and there is certainly a high standard set for success. The drawbacks are a lack of organization and the traditional extra curricular activities. The sports program is downright pitiful but at least it exists. There is no school band or choir and certainly no real drama. I believe children should receive a well rounded education and the arts are not being included at this school. Overall though, I can enroll my children in outside sports and arts related activities but the scholastic education is definitely superior to the local public schools. I look forward to many more years at Harmony.

HSI Carrollton is a very competitive school and I really like their curriculum. Since they are still very new (2 years), there are still a lot of admin issues and most of my frustration are come from the rudeness of the parents especially during car pool time before and after school. I believed parents can learn a lot from HSI students in how to following the rule.

We could not be happier with Harmony. We are so glad we decided to remove our kids from the CFB school district. Harmony is an exemplary rated school and it shows. It is truly like getting a private school education for free. All the teachers and staff are so helpful and friendly. They all go above and beyond! Our children are doing wonderfully here. This school has so many wonderful activities and field trips. They keep the kids and parents involved. The children are respectful and friendly. You can track their grades and see all homework due online. Yes, they are new and still "finding the way" as a school but in our opinion they are doing wonderful and only greater things can come from Harmony School of Innovation in CarrolltonTx!!

This still has a long way to go. They advertise a lot of great things: math and science competitions, but the reality is that they are too disorganized to prepare the students properly for them. As a result they perform poorly. and are often disappointed and embarrassed. For example, my child took part in a math competition, which sadly turned out to be a big joke as the teacher never bothered to prep the kids for the event. One thing I do give this school is that there are some very bright and hard working students here. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for all the teachers, some of whom have been known to lose kids' homework and deny it, thereby messing up their grades. My advice is if you put your child here be prepared to stay on top of things and keep a watchful eye on their performance.
