I attended Cayuga from kindergarten to my sophomore year. I had a terrible time for the most part. The school frowns on any originality in the students, all opinions are to be kept to yourself, whether political, social, or otherwise. All students with 'different' views on life, and the topics surrounding it are viewed as obstinate and violent. The school is well summed up by the parent who said 'Cayuga worries far too much about trivial things.' I couldn't agree more. There is one foreign language to choose from (Spanish), there is no auditorium, the use the high-school gymnasium, and occasionally the other elementary gymnasium. It's a disgrace to education everywhere.

We moved our daughter from a 5A district to Cayuga and she has just loved it!! The small school atmosphere has been great for her academically and socially. The kids look out for each other and the teachers are wonderful! I would highly recommend Cayuga to anyone.

Since kindergarden i have loved going to Cayuga and in my opinion Cayuga has one of the best academic programs. Ever since elementary I dreamed about being in the Band and when I got in the six grade I started band and I play the flute. When I was in the Seventh grade we got a really good Band director and her name is Mrs. Ellis. Parents here, get involved alot such as booster club and the football team, that they support real well. Anyway if you ask me I think Cayuga is one of the best school's in Texas.

I have been going to Cayuga since Kindergarten. I am now in the 9th grade, whenever I am having a problem in a subject they will allow me to stay after school so I could have more understanding about the subject. The band teacher is very nice and we work on our routines and we play very well because we practice mainly everyday.

We moved from a 5A school to Cayuga, and we were worried about the educational opportunities (or lack thereof) that we would find in such a small school. We couldn't have been more wrong! This has been the best school year ever for our child, thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff. I am very proud and excited to have our children enrolled in such a wonderful school!
