This school has the worst principal ever (Ms. Brown), whom refers her self as Dr. Brown. I'm so happy she will no longer be a head principal sine this school is closing down. Thank, GOD!
If I could spend a day teaching the faculty of Belt Line Intermediate School the way they "teach" our children, I'm quite sure many would feel neglected, abused, belittled, and humiliated. When my daughter describes the treatment she witnesses, it saddens me that no one seems to care enough to stop it! What can anyone learn in an environment as unorganized, and uncaring as that?
Cedar Hill ISD is falling down like Wilmer Hutchins and Lancaster.. Low property values + low tax base = not enough money to recruit GREAT teachers

Attended Open House on September 17, 2009 it was great and my daughter first year attending has already seen a different.
My son attended Beltline in 2004/2005. I was very impressed with teacher and administration involvement with my son. We had constant communication via phone, email and in person. I was very satisfied and am looking forward to seeing my daughter attend in 2007/2008.
My son attended Belt Line Intermediate and hated it. He said the children teased him constantly. Parent involvement is given the standard lip service , but is not valued or sought. At an open house parents were shuffled from room to room with little individual communication with individual teachers possible. I wanted to talk about my son's difficulties but found no opportunity. The Principal suggested we get my son involved in school groups or activities, but we received no support from teachers or administration to find groups or activities.
