I really like this school. The teachers really care about the students.I also think it's very important that they have rules that the kids need to follow.

The girl and her parents that had her free speech abridged signed a statement that she and her parents would follow a code of dress set up by the district not the individual schools. The administration was only following the rules that the parents agreed to follow. If we can't teach our children to follow rules that they sign a paper saying they will follow, then we are in far more trouble as a society than we are now. This school is only trying to instill a sense of rules and order that must be followed as adults in order to have basic society work. That, in my book, is what a school should be doing.

This school went way too far in abridging the right to self-expression and free speech for Stephanie Plato by suspending her for having the wrong color of hair. I think the people in charge showed VERY poor judgment, and did NOT have that poor girl's best interests - and particularly her self-esteem - at heart. We cannot teach our children about what it's like to live responsibly in a free, tolerant, and peaceful society if we are going subject them to this kind of fascism at the same time. I'm disgusted. Her hair looks horrible now that she's been made to conform. I wouldn't be surprised if she's scarred later in life by this whole ridiculous fiasco of overreaching authority. God bless her and her mother for having to put up with you people.

Hair issues of a little girl . . . get serious. Thinking backwards . . . seems to be the way of this school and it's administrators. In today's society children need to be encouraged and not inhibited by adults who seriously have some issues that they need to really seek help to work through . . .

I would recommend this school to anyone. Staff will not support your child. I had alot of trust issues.
