The office staff and nurses are awesome. My sons second grade teacher is the best. However his first grade teacher wasn't. My son struggled in her classroom. She was absent often and I really don't think she cared about teaching the kids. Her communication with us was poor. Most of the time she would never reply to my messages or calls. Several of her kids ended up in summer school. I never heard of first graders going to summer school. Just like every school there are some bad teachers. However Mrs. Cowan rocks. Santa Fe has the largest amount of low income children at their school. I never see a child go withouth there or treated different.
