My sons transferred last year to this school. The communication is horrible. I have tried many times to get a hold of the Principal with no reply. They lack communication and organization in this school and the teachers don't care if they student passes or fail, they won't even try to reach you to talk about your kids grades even if you contact them first. I find this school to be one of the worst high schools in Texas, and the staff to be one of the laziest. I would recommend sending your child to private school or move to Houston for better choices. I would not even give this school a half star it's that bad!

The band program is just about the only good thing at Brazoswood. There are a handful of truly great teachers, but that's about it.

Go Brazoswood! Is an excellent school, with great teachers and staff, the facilities are top quality and the extracurricular activities and sports are excellent for students to develop.

The administration is seriously lacking. My daughter moved to this district and struggled so hard she had to return to Dallas to finish school. The process for students moving into the district is severely broken. She went from an honor roll cheerleader to someone seriously falling in the cracks. Thankfully my daughter graduated and is now majoring in Criminal Justice. Had she stayed at Brazoswood she most likely would have become a high school dropout. The area is nice and by all appearances the high school seems fine, but for a new student moving into the district there is little to no guidance on the four year plan to graduation.

Brazoswood is not a very good school. The teachers dont seem to care about the students much and many of the others students are rude. At times I dont feel safe and dont feel like I can express myself. I am a straight a student but with all the other student not trying at all we are about to be an unacceptable school.

Brazoswwod is one of the weakest schools I have seen. Administartion talks a very good game but fails to deliver. From my experience they don not genuinely care about the students. Discipline is NOT consistent and I am not able to tell how it is handed out. Academically the school is sub-par. It is not a good learning environment. The administration is poor.

Brazoswood is a pretty good school, although some teachers have a lack of knowledge, all they care about is coaching whatever sport they coach. One time a teacher of mine spent 99% of the class time talking about her sport..Over all most teachers are very friendly and also are the students. All the students are not racist and very nice to get along with. Brazoswood is pretty much the best highschool in Brazoria County.

The school got a new principal last year and the turnaround has been unbelievable. His leadership skills are excellent and school spirit is back! Hey Go BUCS!

As a former student, I would like to comment. They do not care about the students at all. I have some learning disorders and was in some of special education classes and I felt like I was just passed along the way. My classes consisted mostly of us watching movies. I Felt like I was put in a class where I couldnt fail and they could pass me along when they wanted. The purpose of me being in those classes is so that I can learn. Not just be Passed. I am now a college student and can truly say that I was majorly affected by the lack of teaching.
