I had my son in that school and I have to say that it is not Montessori school. Teachers don't have much idea about Montessori method. One person was also yelling at that children and punishing them by eating from the floor on the porch which is unacceptable. It is just not a Montessori idea of treating children. It was a lot wrong stuff going on and I would not recommend that school to anybody.
My daughter attended this school for pre-school and kindergarten and the experience was wonderful! She learned so much, she loved to learn, and was very far ahead of what most children her age were learning. When we moved and she attended a public school for first grade, we found that many things she had learned in kindergarten at Aggieland Country School were not even taught at public school until late 1st grade-2nd grade. Going to a public school was definitely a step back after attending Aggieland. The teachers are so sweet and friendly and genuinely care about the children and it is a wonderful family environment. There were also lots of activities for parents to get involved in.
Terrific school, conscientious, bright and dedicated teachers. Our daughter is blossoming there!
Great school. Caring teachers. Quiet environment.
I can't say enough about this preschool! The Montessori curriculum is outstanding...teachers are top notch, and the family involvement exceeds that of most schools public & private.
My daughter has attended Aggieland Country School since she was three. She has learned and thrived there. The teachers are caring and the parents are involved. There is a wonderful mix of cultures and beliefs. There are many event, throughout the year, for the entire family. Children over 4 can take violin lessons and can also participate in a weekly natural science museum program. At age 5 she is reading and writing/spelling very well.
