I totally agree with the fact that the academics are superior. However, there are a few things that weren't mentioned that is worth thinking about.. First of all, they do not have playground equipment nor a chapel at all. This should be a given but isn't. Secondly, the staff is extremely nice, however, they are also very judgemental from the get go. Instead of focusing on background checks for their teachers/staff they also background check the PARENTS. Some of the most now devoted christians I have ever met with the best testimonies came from a sorted past. Sex offender checks for the parents I can understand but with the amount of money they get for tuition they don't have the right to be prying into people's personal lives and prejudging. The Lord himself says "judge not, lest ye be judged". They are what gives christianity a bad name.

We have had our children at CCA for a year now. It has been a wonderful experience. We definitely hope to keep them at CCA for their entire school career. It is truly a Chrisitan environment plus they are learning a lot. Their teacher is sweet and loving and tells all of the students that she loves them (they are still in pre-K). We definitely recommend CCA.

Excellent environment for the students - very caring faculty, challenging curriculum and family atmosphere. Sports programs as well are very good considering the size of the school. If you're looking for a school with a nurturing environment where your kids will feel 'at home', CCA is the place.

We love CCA. It's a school and a community put together in an incredible environment. The integrity of the administration has been impressive and fosters confidence in their plan for the school's future.

Teachers at this school really care about the students' success in all areas of their lives. The school's culture is to instill in the students a lifelong love of learning in all subjects including the arts and athletics.

Awesome Christian environment, with the highest academic achievement mixed with championship fine arts and athletics. Covenant Christian Academy truly has it all, at a lower cost than other schools which offer less.

This is a private, Christian-based college prep environment with a great student-to-teacher ratio. We have 2 kids in school there - one in kindergarten and one in 3rd grade. Both enjoy a full reading, science, math, phys-ed and language arts curriculum as well as Wednesday chapel. Tuition is a value relative to competing schools in the area.

We are new to this school (9th grade) but already we have been amazed at how warm and welcoming the students, parents, and staff have been to us. The staff watches over and guides the students to make encourage them to makes wise decisions and to think ahead.

We love the great Christian atmosphere. Also, all the parents are very friendly and involved. There are many opportunities for extracurricular involvement in sports, arts etc. The academics are challenging and the class sizes are much smaller than public school.

CCA is a wonderful educational community. The class sizes are small, so the children recieve all the individual attention they need. There are many extra classes, such as foreign language- even for the kindergartners. The parents are very involved and the Christian spirit is very evident.

Our son and daughter went to CCA from Kindergarten through 12th grade. They had excellent academics (graduating from college summa cum laude), and a great Christian environment with small classes that really helped nurture them. We were very pleased.

This is an excellent classical Christian college prep school. It was 25 years old in 2004. The students SATs are the highest in private and public schools in the Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake area. The students can graduate with over 15 hours of college credit. They won state in 2AA boys basketball and have gone to the playoffs in 2AA Football. Current enrollment when I checked was 425 students about 35 per class. The boys and girls are separated in almost all their classes in 7th and 8th grade and go back to coed in 9th-12th. They have a mentoring program for the students. The students are required to do community service hours. The students wear uniforms. Several of the teachers have graduate degrees. We were impressed. They are in the planning stage of a new Elementary Bldg. Great buy for your money.

Our experience at this school has been awesome! Our child came to CCA from another private school. We were attracted to the classic Christian curriculum and the quality of the teachers. In addition to the regular course curriculum, my child competed in Math Olympics, studied Greek mythology, and for an end of year science project, they watched chickens hatch and raised them for six weeks. What was most satisfying was to see visible proof of the schools effect on my child. The scholastic achievement test results showed an increase of 8% from their last test. This year my child has started studying Latin. The teachers, administrators, and parents are fantastic.

We had a [student] at CCA and we were very disappointed! They say that they are committed to excellence, yet our experience was mediocre at best. It was not challenging in reading or math. We asked for extra reading, and got nothing. The teacher was satisfied to have 'half of the students in the class' challenged in math. The teacher gave spelling tests and mispronounced words. When this caused the students to misspell the words, the teacher let the mistake stand. Her rationale was that 'no one was perfect'. When the children studied Africa, instead of true African music, they listened to 'The Lion King' soundtrack! When we tried to talk to the teacher and administrators about our concerns, we were brushed off. I would not recommend this school to anyone seeking an academically superior education!
