I am not aware of any bullying since I am new this year and I have not witnessed any myself or been told by my daughter it exists at this school.

I just don't know about this one....

Effective school leaders: Strongly agree

Leadership starts from the top down and it shines thru the Headmaster, Admissions, the administrative staff and the teachers and the teachers encourage the students to step into becoming the Leader they were created to be. They treat the students as young adults and expect them to be responsible, charitable, courteous and giving in all areas of their life. They train students how to be leaders and it starts with them setting the example and creating a culture of Leadership. I love the RHETORIC school as I feel like my daughter is being trained to be a Leader for her generation. If you want your son or daughter to take on Leadership roles and be able to be mentored and coached by teachers who embrace Leadership and strive to model it for their students....this is the place to be....

Develops character: Strongly agree

They constantly give the students opportunities to step up and become the Leaders God has called them to be. They set proper expectations and expect the students to walk their walk and talk their talk. They also act with the Integrity, Compassion and Respect that they intend for the students to display so they are setting an example of these qualities so the students can follow. This school believes in making sure every student is set up to win by offering merit points and rewards students who show great character. It is a phenomenal place to send your kids if you want to train them from the inside out...they care about the heart of the kids first....

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

- a
The teachers CARE about the students and are willing to offer support, encouragement, a listening ear and want them to be successful. They set the students up to win in all areas of their life. They especially CARE about their spiritual growth and their servant's heart and offer opportunities for them to engage in those areas quite often. They TRULY want what is best for the students and they keep the parents informed as well too...

Amount of homework: Strongly agree

They are preparing them for college and the students need to be ready to face what is in their future. This is a TRUE COLLEGE PREP school so homework is a necessity to learning and growing as a student....

This year after lots of prayer and site visits and shadow experiences, God led us to Covenant Christian School and it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made regarding her education. Not only do I feel that she is in an incredibly uplifting, encouraging environment where she is thriving but also the way they teach the rhetoric students public speaking skills in all their classes is absolutely amazing. She has gained confidence in her ability to communicate and state her opinion and be able to stand for her beliefs with engaging passion. She has grown so much in the last 5 mths that I feel like she has actually stepped into her college experience and I am getting to have a front row seat at watching her become the responsible, mature, young lady that God has created her to be. I definitely know when He nudged me to take a look at this school that it was a divine appointment! I will be honest I struggled with the decision at first because she had been in the same private school since kindergarten and I fought with the Lord on this change and the sacrifices I would make and the possible challenges she would face. However at her old school she was merely going thru the motions and I knew for her to grow and develop into the woman God was calling her to be that we had to shake her out of mediocrity and bring a new opportunity to her present life. Well imagine my surprise with discovering this BEAUTIFUL GEM called Covenant Christian School. From the time you step into the doors to visit whether it be an open house or Parent introduction to the time your child comes to shadow...this school is a class act. The culture they are creating is unbelievable. The first day my daughter walked out of her shadowing experience I saw her LIT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE and I knew in my spirit before the Holy Spirit confirmed our decision to come here that this place was different. My daughter Hannah is so happy there. She said to me this morning that she feels like she has been here longer than 5 mths because she knows so many people and has been embraced by so many of the students at CCA. She feels like she is part of the family & has felt accepted and loved since the first day of school. Everyday I pick her up she is full of Joy and excited to tell me about her day. She loves the classes too and has a great relationship with her teachers. love this school!

We have truly been blessed by the experience we have had at Covenant. Not only for the education that our daughter says helped her excel in college her freshman year but also by the wonderful families we have met and who are dear friends that we will cherish for our lifetime!

Excellent academic education in a Bible based environment. Teachers invest in the kids and administration listens to parents and makes appropriate changes over the years. I feel that the administration listens and truly wants to know constructive advise.
