The middle school has a new assistant principal that is great with the students. The teachers are very helpful and truely care for their students. They strive to help the students with confidence and remind them to do better for the future.

I believe this school use to be very good. I think the school has really gone down hill the past few years. Mostly because of bad decisions made by the previous superintendent. The school board members engage in some serious 'small town politics.' They do not make decisions that are in the best interest of the students. There are many teachers who have needed to be removed long ago. I believe Colmesneil schools need a huge overhaul and then, and only then, it will once again be a school this district can be proud of.
