I had a baby in high school and this school saved my education. I never would have graduated without it. Thanks Hauke!

This school is the only reason I graduated from high school. Not because I am lacking in any type of learning ability, I mean, I have an above average genius IQ. I just can't handle being around a bunch of people, and due to both mental and physical issues, I missed years of math. It's really hard to get through high school math when you've had no exposure to any of the basics. The teachers at Hauke helped me to get through this issue, and now I'm doing well in college.

My son went here because he was failing regular high school and had given up. This school was our last resort. He did well here , and his grades were good. But, he realized this school was too easy. This made him realize he really did want to go to college and to do that he needed to get back to his more demanding local high school. Back at his local high school, and he actually started to do his homework and turn it in - so better grades....and he is now at college. I thank the dedicated staff and counselors at Hauke. They have a variety of kids at risk - from the ones like ours who are bright, but lazy and bored - to pregnant teens - to kids who are bright, but with distracting very difficult family problems - to kids who want to learn, somehow thought they couldn't.

The teachers are fantastic, they are bright, helpful, and more caring to get you graduated. But attending this school I can not help but wonder if the teachings are dumbed down or not. I love the teachers with all my heart, but when compared to my average high school friends I began to wonder. I rate below average only because disappointment in the social setting and feeling as if I was dumbed down. This school may have helped me graduate, but I'm rather scared of when I hit College wondering what I was going to do.
