As a parent of a student at FBS I would without reservation recommend the school both for its academics as well as its spiritual experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and loving from PreSchool all the way through Middle School. You can tell that they have the child's best intrested in mind and are there to help the children grow in their understanding in all academic areas. The administration is tops and very involved in the day to day of the school. Their afterschool program is awesome and gives parents a piece of mind that their child is taken care of throughout the day (7 am to 6 pm). If you are looking for a school that is inviting, welcoming and challenging stop by FBS and experience all the wonderful things that this school has to offer.

The best private school in town! Quality staff and teachers who sincerely love and care about your child. Outstanding facility and classrooms compared with many other schools in town (with refreshing ocean view from parking lot). Great gym in the church recreation center available for students (and parents) during and after school for physical activities and recreation. Excellent after school programs to nurture students with extracurricular activities. Sibling (enrolled student) gets to stay in after school daycare for free if the other one is registered for any after school extracurricular programs such as piano, chess, art, etc. Strong academic records with competitive national percentiles on IOWA tests. Christian values and teachings lays a crucial foundation for your child for life. I highly recommend FBS to anyone without reservation.

Exceptional private school that is acredited. Offers music, chapel, science fair, spelling bees, feild trips, and several after school programs. There is a basketball team, cheerleadering, piano lessons, honor choir (that performs aroung corpus), soccor, gymnastics, dance, and other programs that are offered at the school (some at an additional cost). The parents are all very involved and included in the school acitivities. Before and after care is available. This school shines with the level of care, education, and activities it provides for the children.

My child has attended FBS for the past 9 years-beginning when she was 4 years old through this 8th grade year. The FBS family is one that we are proud to be a part of. If only they had a high school, then we would never have to leave. As a parent, I truly appreciate the level of involvement that is allowed regarding my child's education. FBS has a unique set of teachers-teachers that love to teach and want to share their Christian values. The extracurricular activities are great too-volleyball, basketball, track, piano, chess, art, guitar, gymnastics, just to name a few. Great for working parents too since they have a before and after school program.
