Concerning Corrigan-Camden Primary...up until this school year, 2006-2007, I had been very happy. When my child entered third grade we ran into all kids of problems. I have tried to get the help of teachers and the principle but without any success. From my experience, a couple of teachers have not been willing to work with our child and expect all kids to act the same and be treated the same. We have gone to the school repeatedly and the school has not addressed the problems. We are currently looking into other options for our child.

In 2012-2013, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was used to test students in English language arts and mathematics in grade 11. The grade 11 exit Level TAKS is a high school graduation requirement. TAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
