Drane is still a really cool school to me. I was on the dance team last year and had a lot of fun. Drane offers a lot of extracurricular activities like basketball soccer cheerleading dance and this year volleyball it really helps students prepare for Collins and believe you me they are going to need it Collins is a nice but whole other world- Former student Ps i love my old math teacher mrs kittrell anyone who has her this year is very mucho lucky

I cannot get anything accomplished with the Drane staff because they all think they can just talk over you and not have to listen to what you have to say. The discipline options are terrible.

I was very worried about my child attending Drane for sixth grade, because I had heard so many horror stories. She got off to a rocky start, but things cleared up fairly nice. She is an honor student and that didn't change. Mr. Grainger and Ms. Newton are what that school needs. I may not agree with every disciplinary action taken, but who ever will? At the beginning of the year I was very skeptical. My child had problems with another student on campus and Mr. Grainger and Ms. Newton came through. I would like to thank them for their level of caring. The academic bar was raised this year. Every teacher that my child had went above and beyond, with her, and myself as her parent. I give everyone at Drane a high five for trying to do better for our children.

this school has a couple of really bad teachers, and no sports activities, no release for the kids. Many things go on and are over looked due to lack of discipline. I am so glad there is a new principle, the last was horrific!

I think this school has some good teachers and some bad teachers. When we have ask for help, the pleas go unanswered I don't think the school wants to be 'bothered' with parents..If I could afford it, my child would be in another school.
