This school is absolutely amazing. I could not ask for a better place for my child to gain her education.

All three of my children have attended Sacred Heart with the youngest still there in the 6th grade. My oldest child started there 14 years ago. It is one big family of students, teachers and parents with our number one priority being to raise good Christians who are well educated. My older two children excelled high above their peers in public high school when they left Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart teaches children how to learn, not how to memorize answers to the test.

I love Sacred Heart School. The teachers are amazing, the classes are small. Ms. Harris the school principal is very connected with the students as well as the parents.

We moved from the Chicago area and were very nervous about which new school to send our daughter to. When we visited Sacred Heart, Mrs. Harris (the principal) put our nerves at ease. We knew from the tour that's where we wanted to send our daughter. The environment was peaceful, very welcoming and the students so polite. It hasn't changed since, we are very happy about the choice we made. It's a wonderful school with great teachers and great principal. We absolutely love it and would not make a change. Academically, they challenge our daughter every day and she is excelling in everything she does getting straight A's.. Showing God's love is first at Sacred Heart and that is what we believe really makes all the difference in all our daughter does. We would not consider public school for that reason alone. We highly recommend this school to anyone thinking about sending their children to a private school.

My boys have been attending Sacred Heart now for 3 years. They love the school and the staff. They have a wonderful principal that really seems to care about the children. They offer after school sports and are academically competitive with other all surrounding schools. We love this school, and feel very blessed to be a part of their family.

We feel very blessed to be able to send our children to Sacred Heart. Our daughter has been in attendance for 4 years and our son will start next school year. It is wonderful to know christian values are being incorporated into the childrens' education. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful principal that truly cares about the children as if they were her own. Sacred Heart is an amazing place with amazing teachers and staff!

Sacred Heart has a great principal and great teachers that care! My child is in the 5th grade and we wouldn't think of being anywhere else. It nice to know my child is getting the best education she can get while making lifelong friends and establishing Christian values.

This is a wonderful school. The teachers and staff are caring. Our principal is excellent and with her leadership, the school board and the parent teacher association our children are in the best of hands. I would highly recommend this school.

We have a strong new principal and pastor who have the same vision for this school. The small class sizes for the price are the best you can find in Houston. I drive 30 minutes to send my kids there.

Sacred Heart is a truly great school. I just finished my eighth grade year and I didn't want to leave. The school is like a second family to me and will always have a mark on my heart and who I am. The teachers are amazing and always know how to break things down and explain them to where you can easily understand and retain what you are learning. Sacred Heart staff and students are my second family and I wouldn't wAnt it any other way.

I love SHS. Period! I enjoy the fact my kids aren't getting brainwashed at the local public school.

I thought I should update my post, since it has been 5 years since my last post. My daughter graduated from SHS 3 years ago and will be a senior at Incarnate Word Academy next year. My son started at SHS in PreK-4 and is in his 9th year at SHS and plans to go to St. Thomas H.S. after next year. It will be very difficult for us to leave next year (after being there since 1998.) The small classes and dedicated teachers and staff have given our children the tools they need to excel. They've grown in faith, compassion, responsibility, character, and intelligence. I'm excited about their prospects for high school, college and the future. Thanks Sacred Heart. You really do have a Heart for our kids!

My daughter is in her fourth year at Sacred Heart and the staff and cirriculum is excellent. The children are like a family and they have been educated well above the public schools in the area.

I have two children in Sacred Heart School. One is in their 8th year and the other in their 5th year. They love it. They also have an extended day program which is run by one of their wonderful teachers, who communicates between teachers and parents to ensure kids are doing all of their homework. The kids consistently score above their public school peers in the SATs. There is a once a week music class, but they don't have funding for a band. They have basketball, track and volleyball depending on enrollment and how many kids go out for each sport. 30% of parents were at the last PTG meeting. The church is highly supportive so tuition is about half what most nearby catholic schools charge.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
