This is a typical small-town school. If your last name is not "special" then you're nothing and will get treated as such. Certain teachers are very inappropriate with their students. If your son doesn't play football, they are looked down upon. There is an abundance of cattiness among teachers. True, a small town school has its benefits, but it does not compare to the opportunities that larger schools may offer. My children changed schools last year and they were behind academically at their new school. I would not recommend this school to anyone who values a good education and wants their child to have many choices when it comes to extra-cirricular activities. Too many narrow-minded people in the town of D'Hanis!
best in the area, educated teachers, with a sense of humor, and listens and easy to talk to I do not like the big city schools, no one knows you, too much red tape when it comes to your child. I love D'Hanis schools
I am very pleased with the education that my children have received at D'Hanis Elementary. The staff is wonderful and they go above and beyond their call of duty. Keep up the great work!
