This school is better than Texline, Hartley, Dumas and Stratford. The asst. principal definitely makes for a good environment for both the kids and parents. She is one of the best that us as parents have come across in our experience over the last 13 yrs and 4 states. PE program is great. If your kids like to jumprope, try putting them into the new Jump & Jam program. It is for boys and girls. There is no need to put your kids into the private schools, this school is alot better.
Compared to other schools around the area (Texline, Dumas, Stratford) this is one of the better schools. The Asst. Principal is awsome! Principal is good too. My child is now in 2nd grade and she loves the school.
Academics seem acceptable Music, extracurricular are available Parent involvement high, particularly at lower levels.
