This school gave me a whole lot of homework and experience. I got to Atwell now, but I will forever miss Rangel, because the girls were always there for me and they were my sisters. However, my teachers were absolutely horrible.

This school helpped me do alot for my future. I am a student in Irma Lerma Rangel YWLS and I never thought I would! My first school year was so much fun, filled with friends, homework, and awsome extra caricular activities. All the teachers there are very welcoming so you can get used to your first year there. Since I am a second year student, I know how hard it is to be there when your in 6th grade. Your the first year students and don't know anybody. That is perfectly fine. That is what the awesome summer camps are for. So you can meet and interact with other panthers your age! It might be hard trying to catch up with all your classes the first few weeks, but you'll be happy you went there!! :)

Rangel is a great place that is doing many wonderful things, truly empowering young women with the tools succeed in college and beyond. National Blue Ribbon School, and Texas Business & Education Coalition Honor Roll School. The first public all girls school in the state, and a model for the 4 new all girls schools (Houston, Austin, Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Lubbock). Many thanks to the Posey family, the administrators, and the educators at Rangel.

This is truly a "great school". There are no disciplinary problems so the teachers can focus on educating these smart young ladies. The principal is amazing, the teachers are passionate about educating and their expectations are high. Not only do they expect these girls to graduate high school... but they expect them to graduate from college. It's a challenging school, but when they enter college, I know they will be prepared.

Irma Rangel is a single sex school so it helps girls focus on schoolwork rather than boys and other things. This is definitely the most awesome school ever.

We're an all-girls' magnet school with AP curriculum grades 6 through 12. Our students work hard and play hard once the work is done. We are producing the next generations of leaders!

The teachers are amazing and dedicated to teaching and the girls are the best and smart too. Our Principal is loving, caring and has the best interest of the students at heart.

What I like about Irma Rangel YWLS is the fact that I know that if i stay in this school I will have a bigger chance of a better future.
We LOVE this school beacause the students can really relate to all of the teachers. They make sure that we know what we are doing, and if the student still dont understand they take time out of their afternoons and help us with tutoring.
Our school allows the girls to be themselves, take risks, grow as leaders, and challenge their minds. This is a safe place to ask questions, be smart, and even fail. Students need all three to succeed.

Amazing teachers that help the best way that they can. Here, you can just be yourself without the worry of what boys might think. They do give a lot of work, and sure it is hard, but you know what? Its for our own good. It is very awarding to be at this school and I know that all this work will pay off when I go to college.

I am a student Irma l. Rangel YWLS. I have been at the school from the very beginning. I have had such a wonderful time here. The school has prepared me for what I am about to face in college, from applying to the work I will have. I have also made some of the best connections ever. You always watch movies or television shows where the teacher does not care about the student just their pay check, and at some schools it is true but at Rangel the teacher really do care about us and not just in our education. Yes the education does come first to them but they become more than just a teacher the become a person you can go to for advice, a role model, a friend. That that is probably one of the reasons why the school is so successful because the people who work there love what they do, and can't wait for school to start each day.
