TDSD is not only a school, it is a family. We have four kids in ages of 2 through 10 attending TDSD in the last six years, the two kids that are second and fourth grade are gifted and bilingual, TDSD helps develop academic, moral and emotional skills, the teachers are loving and excited, the atmosphere in the school is learning through excitement, the pre-k teachers are knowledgeable and creative. TDSD is the best decision we took on our kids education path.

TDSD is a private school for "the people of the Book" but it doesn't have a library. The "library" is used as a lunchroom and event space. Few of the teachers studied education or have professional qualifications, few of the religious teachers even attended college, and neither college nor professional careers are the end-goal for the school's graduates. The school is not all suitable for children with learning differences. TDSD is not the only option for religious Jewish families in Dallas and there are many excellent private and public schools that offer a superior academic experience. Unfortunately, though the school prides itself on moral education, the students are, in general, ill-mannered, badly behaved, and disrespectful of authority. TDSD breeds intolerance and disrespect. There is little to recommend this school.

An amazing school! They have a rigorous dual ciriculam in secular and Judaic studies. The students enjoy going to school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
