We are family at Clay Academy..The school is truly a christian school where the teachers, other staff and principal pray over our children daily. What more could a parent ask for on top of what is already instilled at home. My son has been referred to as "einstein", and I know that a lot of this credit can be attributed from the teachers constantly challenging his psyche. The principal is truly annointed and appointed. The teachers are outstanding, especially Mrs. Ford, k5. I am confident that my child will always reach his full potential here and would not want him to be anywhere else.

I love this school. I don't think there is any place else in DFW where I can send my children and know that they are spending their day with teachers and staff who truly love them. The faculty is unmatched! The academics are great. My kids are a head and shoulder above their public school peers. I hope that Clay Academy can keep it together. I don't know where my kids would go if the school had to shut it's doors.

This is my daughters first year at Clay, and we absolutely love it. She is currently in Pre-K4, and has an awesome teacher. While she absolutely loves the kids, her focus is on teaching as much as she can and we love her passion passion. We spend a lot of time teaching our kid at home, however we must say our child has learned so much in a very short while. The structure at Clay is wonderful and the staff and administration is outstanding, especially the princial and director. It means so much to have your child in a learning institution where everyone cares about their development. Each day when I walk into the school, I am greeted with a warm friendly smile. The staff stop what they are doing to help in any possible. This is definetly the type of environment we want for our kid.

Clay Academy is an excellent Christian based school. The staff truly care about the development of each student. The principal Mr. Winfield is a Spirit led man sent by God with true leadership. Clay Academy offers many diverse after school activities from cooking to drums to ballet to chess plus several more. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to develop their child academically and spiritually. Oh my goodness, please check out the state of the art facility. It is AMAZING!

I currently attend Clay Academy. it's a great school. Our administration has stepped it up. I have only been going there for two years but,I've seen 3 different principals. 2 were horrible but this current one is the bomb. H has a great connection with us. Hee moved from Nevada to come to our school in dallas. He is a godsent. Our middle school teachers are great. Great field trips and we can relate too our teachers. our science teachers is not to much older than us but it's amazing. I can't complain.

My child began his school life at Clay Academy in Kindergarten and will begin 8th grade in the upcoming school year. I've watched this school evolve and improve with each year building upon the last. I appreciate our new, first-class, state of the art facility and the awesome teachers at Clay. Academically, this school is second to none. My child consistently scores in the upper percentiles on the Stanford tests above his grade level. This is the testimony of many other students as well.

My children have attended Clay Academy for a number of years. We have had a very positive experience there and my children are soaring. My oldest is continuouly being promoted and is making practically straight A's. There are opportunities that our children are being offorded that they would not receive at some other private or public schools. The teachers are very committed to the success of the children and they often encourage those that are quickly advancing with the opportunity to continue to excel with exta curricular academic work, activities and competitions (such as the PSIA). We love the fact that this school is closely tied to our church - The Potter's House and we've experienced first hand the growth and perserverance of this fairly new school (in relations to some other college prep schools). They have so many extra special advantages because of this.

clay was funny...it is better than most public schools but just like any other school it is not drama free. i had the time of a life there. but my one complain has to be the procrastination factor that the school's administration demonstrated on a daily basis. they got a lot of stuff done but out of order. the teachers are awesome ( well most of them). the current bible teacher (mrs. pipkin.) is the best teacher i have ever met. if you need to talk or just vent she is there. waiting wanting you to open up to her. she is truly a god send. This school has more options than any other Dallas Private School. Fine Arts, Sports including Golf. The academics are very advanced my kindergartener is reading and writing cursive! Not just small words but reading like a 2nd or 3rd grader. Its amazing!

Clay Academy has great faith based, biblically sound, life skills training. Additionally, its art programs are great! Having only existed for a short time, Clay Academy has not yet met the challenges of being a top notch academic institution, but its tireless visionary (Bishop T.D. Jakes) will ensure its success in coming years. The administrative/teaching staff are genuinely concerned for the development of the whole child and are dedicated to bilblically sound principles that aren't easily found.

My daughter has been at Clay Academy since PK-3 and she is currently in the first grade. My daughter is currently reading on a 4th grade level and is doing math on a third grade level. We have been blessed with teachers who have been able to assist me with instilling in her academic excellence, as well as biblical principles. Clay Academy is a school established on excellence and God's favor.

About these ratings
The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.
We currently do not have any test score information for this school.
Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
