Fabulous school! We have been at WDCS for 4 years now. They expect excellence from not only the children but from parents as well. My answer to anyone that has an issue with your school is volunteer. Be an involved parent.

Lack of diversity on the staff here. Few/no Black Latino teachers. Stereotypically most of the few minorities hired by this all-white administration team are in service positions/ P.E. Other than that there is only one Black teacher for a student body that is predominately minority. The only Black males kids see are the janitor and the P.E. Person which is unfortunate for young Black kids.

This is an awesome school, it is for sure GOD sent. The teachers are excellent, leadership and academic programs are excellent. This school have allowed my child to bring out the gifts that he have in him......my only regret is that I didn't have him in this school earlier. We love you West Dallas Community School (Teachers, Staff, and Administrators)

I love the school, I have two children attending. . They are boith doing very well. They learn so much from the freat staff. Everyone really seems to care about the well-fare of the children. For the last 3 years math has been taught at the next level, this cming year it will taught at the grade level. I am sure our children will miss this challenge. The ratio of students to teachers is low / great for personal interaction. I would recommend this school to anyone , I tell my coworkers about it every day. Thank You West Dallas Coimmunity School and Pastor Wilson for all you do

WDCS is truly an exceptional school and is GOD-SENT in this day and time. The teachers are very passionate, caring and goes beyond what is required. The school offers low teacher/student ratio. It is a christian school that has kept prayer and bible teaching in the school. Everyone is helpful and cares about the student. The kids, teacher and staff are very respectful. The curriculum is very strong and prepares them for future and teaches them to excel beyond all possibilities. Also theis school is affordable. I highly recommend this school to anyone.

This school is wonderful for all children to attend. My son just loved going there last year and is starting his second year. the faculty there is amazing they really care not only about the students, but the students family. They are always there to help and give lots of support to the children. The teacher to student ration is low and the students get one on one attention. As a parent you are informed daily of what is going on. My daughter is starting pre-k this year and can't wait to attend. Any one wanting a good education should consider sending there kids to this school. It can't hurt to call and check it out you wont be disappointed

I love this school, not only is the school perfect for my five year old because of the class room size but it is christian based school. Her teacher writes comments ever day on her behavior at school and it helps me know to know what to work on at home. The most important would be the entire staff is very respectful and welcomes you every morning with open arms.

My child has attended this school for six years. They have given my son a loving and caring environment. They challenge my son to do the best in all areas of study. I will recommend the school to any parent that wants to give their child the best education in Dallas for a good price.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
