This school is celebrating its 50 year anniversary and I am proud that my grandchildren are third-generation students. This school is a campus Charter school that has many checks and balances that promote student success. For instance all students are assessed on a weekly basis. The school has two experienced mentor teachers who visit classrooms to assure that the Charter programs are being implemented properly and to offer their expertise and guidance as needed. The teachers in this school are dedicated to the students and work very well together. This school has an active Site Based Decision Making Committee and PTA. We have volunteers at the school on a daily basis. The Principal is co-authur of the campus Charter and is very knowledgable and dedicated to the success of the charter and students. The music teacher is loved by all the students and is an excellent teacher.
