It is a unifying experience where children learn to get along with each other and express thier individual personalities while focusing on basic curriculum and thier love for the arts.

I love Booker T. Washington because it gave my son an opportunity to use his talent and creativity like no other school could have. Booker T. is part of the reason that my son is a graduate student studying scenic design. Booker T. rocks!

While I was in the process of visiting high schools before while my son was in the eighth grade, I had the feeling that all the students at the school wanted to be there. Those four years were good for him in so many ways and went by so quickly. He is now a successful college student as a science major. That success is based on his education, growth, and experiences at Booker T.

BTW Spva allows creativity into the process of learning. This increases motivation and enthusiasm, helping students get the maximum benefit from their education. My nieces are continuing their education at the university level, bringing with them the knowledge, skills, and attitude nurtured at BTW.

BTWHSPVA was the best high school I could've attended for my educational advancement as well as my creative advancement. The teachers were artistic and made you become the best student you could be. The performances were exceptional, amazing from students to be performing at that level. It was a quaint school when I attended and even that added an element to my high school term.

Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts has wonderful administrators, incredible teachers, award-winning students, strong support from the Advisory Board, PTA and alumni groups, and school partnerships with arts organizations and the business community.

I love my school because it is different from most every school in the entire country, in fact, the entire world. Students at BTWHSPVA are free to explore their creative art as well as many others. I believe that this school changes you in the most positive way. You come in a young student, and you come out a mature, clear thinker, with a vast knowledge of the arts in the world.

Just a great school all together. The art, music, dance, and theater really encourage kids to follow their dream careers early and feel great about it. BTWHSPVA encouraged me let my artistic and musical talents get out and to bee seen in the world.

Booker T. is amazing. Here, we express ourselves through the arts while learning in an academic environment. We socialize, we perform, and we excel. For the hundreds of students who attend Booker T, this is certainly a place we call home. :)
