This is a great school teachers are dedicated to the students and actually care for them they treat them like they were their own kids. My three kids have attended this school and when they had to move to a different school they were heartbroken. Also the after school program is one the best programs they sit down with each student and help them with homework and other things they need improvement on. They have great tutoring teachers and classes. Everybody there makes you feel like you are at home we were like a big happy family. I really appreciated the staff at James W. Fanning Love Yall

In 2012-2013, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was used to test students in English language arts and mathematics in grade 11. The grade 11 exit Level TAKS is a high school graduation requirement. TAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
