As a parent of a student who is now a high school student, I can say that San Jacinto was a great place for the foundation needed for his public education. The teachers really care for the students, and there is so many after school activities and programs. I don't think there is any school in the world that doesn't have their typical discipline problems, but when it does occur it is taken care of immediately. There is a zero tolerance for bullying, and you feel welcomed in that school.

This school is the spirit of the neighborhood. The children have an opportunity to be successful attending after school clubs where they can use their time wisely. Teachers really care about them and spend hours and hours to cover the gap that parents have built. Many times, these children do not want to go home because this school is their home and where they are happy. This school not only educates minds but the entire spirit. This school is priceless.

This school has a lot of Parent involment activities;music class,band,soccer team among others.

School is not a safe environment for students due to the fact of the students who attend this school. A large % of students are from very lo-income families and come from families that don't support their children. There is a lot of bad behavior from students specially in upper grades; Bullying, gang activities and oppressive behavior, such as sexism and racism, is most of the time tolerated in upper grades or not well managed;These students therefore do not have any manners whatsoever. Community is not a safe environment either.
