We had same problem with bulling been to the school 3times ( twice with vice principle and once with sub principle) and still nothing has changed either. Our next step is going to be with Mike Miles.

This school is horrible. It used to be a great school, but it has fallen by the wayside. It seems like the school is more interested in sending your child to truancy court than to teach. Now don't get me wrong, there are a handful of good teachers and I commend them. The Principal has been sick the whole school year and there has been a serious problem with bullying. I have been to numerous of parent/teacher conferences about these issues, but nothing has changed. My next step is to go to the district. I regret the day I sent my kids back to this school.

Ronald E. McNair is a really great school. I was in McNair since 2nd grade through 5th. My 4 years here were great, the teachers pushed us to do our best, and supported us through out the year. I am really glad I came to McNair.

My grandchild is Arieana Rae Williams in Pre-K A. I am very interested in her school and how my grandbaby is doing in school. I am willing to help in any way I can.

McNair is an absolutely wonderful elementary school. My son is new this year after 2 very unsuccessful years in another school. He was never a discipline problem at his old school; however, his teachers and the support staff treated him as though he could not be a successful student because his reading abilities were low. This resulted in him feeling so incredibly poor about himself. His current teacher at McNair has truly made him feel like a success and is very supportive. As a result, he is performing extremely well (reading just above grade level) and his confidence is high. Thank you to the entire staff at McNair for helping my child develop into a productive person who loves to learn!

The Leadership from the Principal, Assist. Principal; Adminsitrative Staff, Teachers is exceptional. It reminds me of when I was in elementary school. Their main focus and concern is the children and parent involement.

I'm ecstatic to say that the prek year was great and the second year is even better. This will be my daughters second year attending Ronald Mcnair Elem. she is now in Kindergarten with Mrs Bussey Pre K-A. and the learning that my daughtet(amiya c.) has received is amazing. She can now Read,Subtract,Add and other things that I didnt realize she would learn in Kindergarten. Compared to other kindergarten children that attend other schools in the dallas area she is way more advanced. Mrs Bussey is another outstanding teacher at this elementary school and she is another reason my child will be back next year for another year of learning . alexis lewis

The staff at Ronald McNair is the sole reason for me living where I live. I do not want to move until my kids are out of elementary. The teachers and staff are that good.

Parents should be more hands on in their child's growth and development. Stop making everything everyone else's fault and take perosnal responsibility for your child. Teachers could use a hand with discipline. It's hard to teach when someone is auditioning for Comic View or looking to be the biggest and baddest during class. Administrators could be more warm as opposed to unapproachable with students, staff, and parents. Loosen up a little bit. Students should take more pride in themselves and their numerous positive abilities and strengths.
