My grandmother taught me that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. In order to warn parents, however, I will put 1 star on this review. Take that for what you will.

I can say this Mrs. Billington the kidergarten teacher is awesome. I love how much my son has learned and I think her teaching methods are great. The school itself could use some help in the lunch room voluteers. Other than that I would not want my child to be anywhere else.

I love this school. I am a volunteer there and my children have been there since the beginning. I now have a child in 3rd grade. And the 3rd grade teachers are great, except for one, but my child is not in her class. So are the 4th grade teachers so I am looking forward to next year. But I am worried about after that. The 6th grade teachers are so incompetent, sitting at the computers instead of walking around the classroom and such traditional teachers where kids read the book and answer the questions. You can always tell when the 6th graders are walking down the hall. And the 5th grade teachers have a hard time getting to school on time. There is at least one late every morning. That is so unprofessional. But hopefully that will change.

I have worked and visited other schools in Dallas ISD and this school stands out. The administration is great and the teachers are very dedicated.

My grandson attends this school, and I would like to say one thing. I am very impressed with my grandsons kindergarden teacher. I have noticed that he really, I mean really does a great job. He should get a special award at the end of the year. His name is mr. Cervantes. One can tell when there is a teacher that love their job, from those who just go to 'work' I don't know if this is any importance to you , but I feel I just had to say something. You guys are doing a great job there. Keep it up. Thanks lydia
