Grateful to: Student

Thank you to all the students who try and want to learn. Being at this school makes you feel like you are doing it all alone... no structure, no academic guidelines!

Teacher effectiveness: Very ineffective
September 30, 2015
Like I said, it's all about a popularity contest there, a buddy system... they don't care anything about the kids. Poor, poor academic planning at this school!

Amount of homework: Not enough
September 30, 2015
These teachers are too lazy to give out proper homework. They don't give it out because they don't really know how to do it. Lazy principal who has a poor academic planning!

No! No structure whatsoever! They give the children false hope and misdirection! These kids are confused!

No! they only think of themselves! I've heard staff/teachers admit that they are only there for a paycheck, not for passion or interest in the child!

Develops empathy: Strongly disagree

No! If your child complains of being bullied, they go tell the parents of the child that is bullying your child. And then your child gets bullied more!

No it does not. These teachers are so corrupt that they are corrupting the students. Look at the statistics!

First of all i only have one good thing to say about this school and its that Ms. Williams is the only GREAT teacher their. My daughter is only in the first grade and unfortunately she has to repeat the grade. Due to she was always bullied and could not focus in school. Her teacher did nothing about it! So I took the problem over to the principle but did nothing as well. My daughter would ask to participate in activities and was never allowed. She would sit alone next to the cubbies and restroom. Tutoring was mandatory for her as I was told in my first meeting with the teacher and adviser to prevent my slaughter from failing in school and to prepare for upcoming test. But the teacher always cancelled on us. Come to find out that she was just cancelling on my daughter only and other student were allowed to attend. This school needs to be closed down. Went to several meeting and always heard bad language coming from workers at the school and the principles. Very bad and unprofessional. I advised that any parents do not send you child/children to this school! I would rate rate this school a biz fat zero if I could!

This school is a nightmare. My kindergarten child was constantly bullied and came home every day with bruises from being kicked by other students in the class. The teacher couldn't even teach because she had to play babysitter to these unruly children. Zero parental support or the parents just have no clue and expect the teachers to deal with their children in every facet. It is not the teacher's job to be a parent! The principal was very uncooperative and unhelpful and counselors pulled the "bully" out for talk therapy yet he harassed my child every day. At five years of age, this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness, I got her out of there. Academics are severely lacking as well.

My grandmother taught me that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. In order to warn parents, however, I will put 1 star on this review. Take that for what you will.

I can say this Mrs. Billington the kidergarten teacher is awesome. I love how much my son has learned and I think her teaching methods are great. The school itself could use some help in the lunch room voluteers. Other than that I would not want my child to be anywhere else.

I love this school. I am a volunteer there and my children have been there since the beginning. I now have a child in 3rd grade. And the 3rd grade teachers are great, except for one, but my child is not in her class. So are the 4th grade teachers so I am looking forward to next year. But I am worried about after that. The 6th grade teachers are so incompetent, sitting at the computers instead of walking around the classroom and such traditional teachers where kids read the book and answer the questions. You can always tell when the 6th graders are walking down the hall. And the 5th grade teachers have a hard time getting to school on time. There is at least one late every morning. That is so unprofessional. But hopefully that will change.

My grandson attends this school, and I would like to say one thing. I am very impressed with my grandsons kindergarden teacher. I have noticed that he really, I mean really does a great job. He should get a special award at the end of the year. His name is mr. Cervantes. One can tell when there is a teacher that love their job, from those who just go to 'work' I don't know if this is any importance to you , but I feel I just had to say something. You guys are doing a great job there. Keep it up. Thanks lydia
