PWE has been such a great place for our daughter. She has had the chance to meet all of her classmates and kids in other grades since the school is so small and homey. The teachers are all so dedicated and truly take the time to challenge kids where they need it. The vibe at the school is very casual, warm and friendly. The school is a great example of the real world and a wonderful way for my daughter to learn about different cultures while still getting a strong academic foundation.

My kids have attended Prestonwood from K-6 and we couldn't be happier with our experieince. The teachers are outstanding and really care about the kids. Because of the small size, it's a very nice, family atmosphere with lots of parent involvement. The curriculum is solid (provided by RISD) and the school also offers enrichment clusters, which have been a wonderful addition by the new principal. We especially like the diversity of the school. My kids have friends of different colors and cultures - a unique treasure in suburban Dallas. Finally, the new principal (in her 2nd year at PWE) is such an asset - she's been a great spokesperson for the school, has brought new ideas, and is focused on helping each student succeed. PWE has provided my kids with an amazing foundation - academically and socially.

PWE has an amazing group of teachers and staff. My son attended PWE from K thru 6 and we were very pleased with the enrichment programs and plays that the school offers. It is a smaller, neighborhood school with a great group of volunteer parents. My son was absolutely prepared for junior high this year and was able to excel in the Pre-Ap courses. I highly recommend Prestonwood.

I have two children at PWE - a second grader and a fourth grader. Overall, we love PWE and can't say enough great things about it. The new principal Pam Aitkin is absolutely a visionary and we have seen huge changes in the school since she came 18 months ago. She has singlehandedly enhanced the curriculum with a programs called "GEMS." My kids love the hands on, active approach to leanring and I know the techers are thrilled with how engaged and motivated the kids are when it's "GEMS" time during the week. Pam has also created an environment where the teachers are encouraged to add to the daily activites. PWE is an environment where every child knows they are cared for and loved. Hugs run rampet at PWE! We love the special teachers, the small community/family atmosphere and the care in which our children's education is fostered and nurtured every day. We couldn't be happier and I know my kids are getting the best education.

PWE is little neighborhood gem - tucked away in a nice neighborhood with a great playground. Teachers and staff care about and work with those at the top as well as those with challenges. PWE is an exemplary school and deservedly so. There are so many opportunities for kids to shine and so many ways for parents to be involved. My kids are now in high school and got a great start at PWE.

This school's performance could NEVER be compared to it's square footage! We've been at PWE for two years now. I had a six grader that graduated and a fourth grader, who is currently attending. I love this school because the teachers and staff love what they do...better yet, who they do it for! Our kids have gained much more than a fantastic education. Furthermore, I've gained a true appreciation of what a PTA can accomplish. This school is amazing. The moments have been PRICELESS! (KP)

Congratulations PWE on your predicted exemplary status! You are a fabulous school with caring teachers and an involved community . We love how all cultures and races are embraced--a lesson that some in our society still need to learn! Thank you for helping my children to thrive academically and socially. My kids are learning how to work and play with others that may not have the same skin color or natively speak the same language. Research has shown that kids in this type of learning environment will do better in their school years and beyond! I am so happy that we are a part of this school! Kudos to all of you!

Although we just started attending this school, I am already impressed by the staff and the school. The surroundings are appealing and the children take pride in the school. My grandson cried yesterday because he had to miss class due to an Illness. I never saw a child so eager to attend schol. Thanks.
