FCA has been a true blessing to my daughters education. Everyone is very professional and you can see the passion that they have for education. It's always nice to walk through the halls and see all the hardwork the students are doing. This school definately exceeds expectations. It makes not just the child work hard but the parents as well. There have been many times that I found myself helping my child research and prepare projects for class. You cannot slack off at FCA. The best part of FCA is the fact that I feel my child is in a safe enviornment with teachers that truly care about each any every student and that to me is pricesless. :-)

Our child has been at FCA preschool over the past year and we have been disappointed in the leadership of the school. Prior to getting into the school parents must attend an orientation where the administration sells a false bill of goods on how organized and great the school is, and how the administrators are really on top of things. However, once our child was enrolled we saw a totally different face. The administration is hostile towards parents and does not want parental participation or feedback. The administration is not progressive and points out to parents that the school is a step child and school business takes a back seat to church business. Tuition paying parents are nickeled and dimed to death with requests for donations of books, rugs, learning tools, etc. to the school. Most of the teachers are great, but some are lazy and parents MUST stay involved in order to protect your children. FCA has a wonderful curriculum both academically and spiritually, but this is clouded by the shoddy administration. Most of the staff are members of the church and there are cliques that can't be penetrated and hold the school back from advancing.

My children have attended FCA for over ten years. My youngest started at 18 months. I have nothing but praise for the school. The teachers have longevity as many that taught my children in preschool are still teaching at the school. The teachers are committed and the administration is very supportive of the programs. Recently the school advanced to a college preparatory program which has been a blessing.

My child just finished her first year at Fellowship Christian Academy. I was very please with the academic and spiritual emphasis at the school. I also enjoyed the partnership with the teachers in educating my child. FYI, parental involvement is a must in order for your child to be successful. FCA is truly a college prep environment.

My daughter has attended Fellowship Christian Academy since she was a toddler. She is now finishing her 2nd grade year. FCA has consistently improved their curriculum each year. I am so impresseed with the new curriculum that was implemented last school year. The math curriculum being used now is a thinking curriculum, not just memorization. They are working at least a grade level ahead in reading and math. I am confident in saying that my daughter is getting a great foundation and will be academically prepared for future learning. There are plenty of activities and field trips that support classrrom learning. Check out the website at FCAsoars.com

My youngest son has been at this school for seven years and my daughter for four years. This school has gotten better every year. Yes, they have had their struggles, but the new curriculum is challenging and focused on Science, Technology and Math. They started a robotics club this year for the middle school students and are giving the teachers more freedom to teach unconventionally. Things are not perfect, but they are good. As a parent though, you need to be involved no matter where your kids go to school if you want them to be successful.

I am a 7th grade student at Fellowship Christian Academy. I love this school. This is my sixth year at that school, and it has been wonderful. The have moved up to College Prep., which has been a wonderful experience to me. The have varieties of educational and athletic curriculms. I would recommend your child to come here.

My children have attended FCA since 18 months. We have had much success with the school. My daughter is in Kinder and I am very impressed with what she is learning. I can see how she has matured from the beginning of the year until now. My son is in PreK-3. They have done an excellent job with teaching him phonics. The school has done an excellent job with both children. Just recently the school hosted a meeting to discuss their plan to become a college preparatory school. Kindergarten and First grade are already teaching students a grade above their current level and they are adapting this same philosophy for 2nd grade and above. The is l very reasonable. It has been a challenging school year because the curriculum is very rigorous but it is well worth it. A child cannot be successful in this environment with out parental involvement.

Fca is a great school for a great price. As parents we have torealize that everything is not perfect and we must become involved in our childrens education in order for them to be successful. Often times we down talk schools because they didn't work for our child, but was it the school are the involvement that we had with our children learning process. FCA has it ups and downs but it is still worth the tution.

The teachers here are awesome. The curriculum is very rigorous (my son is in Kindergarten however the kids love it and it ensures the parents stay involved in thier children's academics. My son is reading at an impressive level after only 2 months of schol. They take not only thier teaching but the children's social spiritual and emotional development very seriously. AND the tuition is affordable! I would recommend to anyone

I have two children at FCA, and they have been there for three years. Each year is different and I have to stay involved just as each parent should. Each teacher is different. I am glad that my children love the school. The school is not perfect, but no school is perfect. I wish the teachers would be a little more creative. It is a private school and I expect more freedom from the school and staff to teach in a more creative way other than strictly textbook. Another thing is that there is no room for recess due to the extensive curriculum. Children are people. They need an avenue for relaxation from work as well as adults. Too much work and no play makes grumpy children.

My daughter started the program at 3 years old and her teacher at the time was awesome. Very loving and compassionate like teachers should be. I have noticed a lot of teacher turn over and her current teacher is not as patient. As far as the educational program it is excellent but I would like to see all the teaching staff to be on the same page. They should be providing more thorough feedback to the parents so that they know which areas to work on.

My son is in Kindergarten at FCA. I have found that the curriculum does nothing more than teach him how to perfect his 'memorization' skills, which he needs no assistance with. It's basically representative of teaching him how to be a 'jack of all trades - master of nothing'.

My child has been attending since August, and he is in the Preschool program. I am highly pleased with what he has learned so far. He is already starting work in his readers, and doing phonics work. Extensive bible verse memory is taught, as well as recognition of letters, numbers, spelling of his name, etc...The staff shows unconditional love and care to all of the students, and the ratio of student to teacher is perfect for the age group. I was thinking of only sending my kid to private school until he was in the 1st grade, but now I don't know if he will attend public school until a much later grade. Awesome facilities as well. Also they are involved in Stretch n Grow, Art, Music, Mouse Club Computer Classes, all included in the tuition price! At his last school this was all seperate!

The commitment to education comes from the top. The education staff at FCA is totally committed to achieving excellence in education. They view educating their students as their contribution to God's work. They support education and Christian values and the children are evidence of it.

FCA has a good early childhood program. I have two children who both entered at 18 months. I have been pleased. The previous principal was good for the school. She knew all the children personally and really had a love for the kids. The principal now is far from that. I can understand why they have a high turnover rate with teachers because if parents are displeased with her, then I can imagine how the teachers feel. The head people in charge need to examine this carefully because if they loose all the good teachers, then enrollment will drop if it hasn't already.

My child attended Fellowship Christian Academy starting in the P-K classroms. I personally feel that this school laid a solid educational foundation for us to build up on. He got the attention and love that I felt that he needed. This school had an open door policy for parental involvement.

This school has a spirit of excellence and promotes this character into the children. In regards to subject based learner I am a little concerned about my childs math and science skills. I would like to see a more aggressive approach in these areas. Otherwise, I am very pleased! The teachers are obvious lovers of education and the student/teacher ratio is wonderful! I really appreciate the biblical emphasis! Great job FCA!

The reading program is accelerated. Students usually working and half to full grade level above in reading. The school has a warm christian atmosphere. Teachers are really friendly. They are very communicative about school program and the academic focus. The school has Music, Art, Computer, P.E., and Library. There is a sport program for upper grade. I wish they had more extra curricular activities for primary students(PK-2nd). The afterschool program can use some improvement in the type of activities offered. My child is Kindergarten and the only activities has is art and P.E. in the afterschool program.
