We were nervous about enrolling our daughter here, but have been pleased with the smooth transition. She loves her classes and especially enjoys band. It helps if your child has good grades and can be in the advanced classes. Discipline has not been a problem; I think the administration has worked hard to correct past problems. I'd like to see administration encourage more parent invovlvement opportunities and not just "parenting/discipline" classes. Parents are an untapped resourse at this school.
There is a huge lack of disipline at the school and lack of support from administration. The students run crazy and get in fights on a daily basis. There is little to no parental support and the students are extremely lazy. I would not recommend this school to any teacher, parent or student.
There is an overabundane of knowledge and years of service at this school. Leadership leaves a lot to be desired though, as does discipline and support for the teachers from administration.
