Temple Elem. goes above and beyond when it comes to putting students first. We offer before and after school tutoring and homework help as well as extended day and summer school. They have an excellent Dyslexia program with an in-training therapist from the Lukes Waites Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children with learning disabilities.
I love Diboll ISD! The teachers here seem to actually care about the kids and their education. I guess thats why we always score good on the TAKS test!
Stribling Elementry School in Burleson, Texas is such a wonderful school. All the teachers are so outstanding when it comes to the education for children. Not only education is taught but pride, self-esteem, charicter and many other self issues. For example on Christmas instead of exchanging gifts they donated 422 brand new unwrapped toys to the salvation army for needy children and each child got to put his/her toy on the truck themselves and inexchange they recieved an angel pin. the school is the most loving and caring school I have ever seen. The Principal is Mr. Philo Waters and he is one of the best people I have ever known and I have known him since I was in JR. high and I am 30.So if you ever move to Burleson consider William Stribling Elemtery School. You will not go wrong.
My two sons attend this school and I have to say that I'm very pleased. I attended school in Diboll and I loved it, everyone knows everyone else because the schools are small. I moved to another town but when my oldest son was born, I moved back because I wanted him to have a sense of belonging, and he has it here, as does my youngest son. I didn't want them to just be a number at a bigger school.
