This school only has 101 students in it, not 303. Wayne Ware is the temporary headmaster and you can call the school to verify this data. Thanks

The students like it for the lax dress code and relaxed atmosphere and the fact there is very little homework. The standards are not very high, as would be expected at a Christian school. There is little or no communication between parents, faculty and administration. They use an online site for grades, but it is not used effectively. At this time, the school is going through yet another crisis with administration and leadership. My advice: Look elsewhere

If you want a school where your child will learn, grow, prosper, succeed, and where he/she will be loved, then Pine Drive is your ideal school. As a parent, if you want your child to be happy and receive a Christian education from a smiling, loving teacher, then you have found your school. In my experience, 100% of the population won't be pleased 100% of the time, but sometimes it seems people just choose to be unhappy. Keep that in mind. Give Pine Drive a try! You WILL like it, and your children will LOVE it.

Critical thinking skills are NOT taught in this curriculum; your children will be LOST when they are asked to think for themselves and the answers don't come to them in bold face print. The faculty and staff definitely give preferential treatment to some students. Overall, I would rather home school a child than pay for them to go to this "school" (and I use that term VERY loosely)

I have been attending this school for almost my whole life, I have never really enjoyed it, except with the time with my favorite science teacher. But some teachers in this school will give you demerits and sometimes behavior referrals for the smallest things. This school also has problems with keeping teachers for longer than a couple months. We had about 8 history teachers in about 2-3 years. It is a real problem, but its probably because they don't pay as well as most schools, for obvious reasons. But, I have to say I loved the people, they were always nice and in all my time in this school I didn't see a single real fight. I loved the student body. The biggest problem in my eyes, was the the lack of a verity of courses in the school.

I love this school. The teachers are great and really love the children. There needs to be a bit more communication between the staff and parents. Beginning, Aug.2010 I believe the school will address these issues. I understand a new Headmaster will be taking over and that she is top in this field. Watch this school grow.

Pine Drive Christian School is not a Christian at ALL. The staff are not forgiving or accepting of ALL students. They have 'favorites' that get chosen for plays; student of the month, chapel serves performers and academic events. They are unprofessional and unorganized as a whole. The Pastor is rarely seen on campus and does not offer Christian counseling when there are personal or discipline issues. The Students are not treated equal. The music teacher yells quit frequently at the students. One of the second grade teachers has been heard yelling at her class with the door closed which she could be heard from down the hall. The ladies in after school care are so busy sitting at the table gossiping about others that they don't even know when a student is being harassed by another student. The lady in after school care is very rude to the students. NO Stars!

I have had two children graduate from PDCS. They received a great education. They are both attending 4-year universities now - one at a state school and one at a private school. They were thoroughly prepared for college, and both received significant college scholarships as well. We loved PDCS because not only were the kids prepared academically, the teachers and administrators truly loved and cared about them. Our experience with PDCS was a great one.

I have been teaching at Pine Drive for many years and I still love it. We have great kids, teachers who are devoted and wonderful parents. At times we have been very merciful to students because we are a Christian school. I am proud of this school. I recommend it to everyone. Our facilities are well used but the love and people make up for that.

I have been involved in PDCS since 1996-have 2 children attending-and volunteer often...we love this school. You will not find a more loving environment that truly cares about your childs feelings, grades and overall wellbeing. Of course like anywhere there are issues but nothing that cant be resolved. The pastor is an absolute extraordinary man with a heart for God. His love for his faculty, students and parents is sensational. He will address any problem you take to him w/a loving heart and go thru the proper channels to resolve it in a Christian manner. If you want your child to be praised, loved and well educated academically and Biblically, send them to PDCS.
