As a current student this school has gotten worse since we got a new principle. I have been a trusted student at this school and honestly don't send your kids to this school. We have had recent fights and the principle does nothing about them. It is great in academics but that is all, it will make your kids anti-social in their HS years.
schools and administrators can not satisfy everyone, just like in other aspects of life. parents are in denial at times and do not accept the fact that some students do come with baggage, that being why they are transferring to began with. sauceda has a great bunch of kids and a great, especiaaly the administration.
The overall faculty/staff and administration committment to students is excellent. A caring, safe and rigorious curriculum is in place for all the students.
As a former student of Sauceda MS, I have to say it was a great school. The teacher's were great. They always tried their hardest to get everyone to pass and learn the material needed. The security staff was pretty strict but as I look back now, weren't that big of a deal. The administration was just as good too. Everyone helped everyone out. It was a good learning enviorment despite the few little mishaps that happened among students.
My step daughter is in Sauceda Middle School and compared to La Joya It's alot better this school is not about parents in politics or who you know Its all about our childrens education and their education is my families first priority. Without an education where is life going to lead our children? This school may have the doors chained up but its for our childrens safety. now a days safety in our schools is what we need. I believe if there's an emergency the staff are trained to take action ASAP. Now the teachers and every single staff in Sauceda are very supporitive and are there to help with our childrens education now it takes three to make an A student, parents and teachers!
Sauceda MS has been a wonderful school for my children, they have learned a great deal from study habits to college planning. The administration and faculty work closely with students to improve their academics.
My children have been entrusted to Sauceda MS and I feel that they are academically prepared to challenge HS and college, great job to all teachers....
As a student at Sauceda MS, I feel very safe. All securities, teachers and principals are there early in the morning and late in the afternoon. They support all students.
This school is not very good. My two children have gone here since last year and both of them have gotten beat up in fights afterschool in the bus area. I also walked into visit one of son teacher and the doors were chained I fear for my child safety what if there a fire and no way out because of chains. I do not think people should send their little ones to this school if can help it. I moving my children to better safer school next year.
I my opinion the quality of academics at this school is very poor. There is a lot of violence at this school. My daughter is scared to go to school everyday but I can't afford to take her elsewhere nor do I have the transportation available. Too many new teachers too. They need more experienced teachers. This school needs to improve.
