I am a teacher in this school and I see a lot of injustices that happen. As a teacher in the upper grades I feel that we get scrutinized with TAKS scores. We don t simply get these students, they had a previous teacher. It is said that many of these teachers do not teach which is what we are there to do. A lot of pressure is put upon us, while the teachers who are sending these products are not having a finger pointed towards them. Something has to change in this district. A lot of times we let a lot of minor incidences slip therefore causing our students to become below average students while each has the potential to meet or exceed the state standards.
