This is the best school ever! I recently moved to El Paso and entered as an 8th grader here. The campus is extremely beautiful and everyone is friendly. The principal is a great person and the counselors are the best. Everyone is very welcoming and it's almost impossible to be excluded. This is a safe school that has great teachers that not only help you academically, but also with your social problems (if you ask them about it) because they are really easy to become close to. We are this year's UIL academic overall champion and i'm pretty sure we're also going to be the UIL athletic champion. We have a variety of sports and clubs as well as a great fine arts program which includes a wonderful theatre program. If you (your child) attends EMS, you won't ever regret it because it will prepare them for the transition to High School. It is a privilege to be a member of the Eastwood Middle School family and i promise you will enjoy studying in this great environment created by the principal and the Ysleta ISD. Also, we do have a uniform but it's different from traditional schools. We have spirit shirts of all colors and clubs/band/orchestra/NJHS/athletic t-shirt you can wear every day.

I really hate this school. The teachers, the violence, everything. Don't have your child go here. It's a horrible school.

Mrs. Graves is the principal at EMS and she runs a very tight ship. She has excellent teachers working with her. We've had 2 of our children at EMS and it is an excellent middle school.
